Hey guys, not sure what the crack is around here with paint and cars but I'll go ahead and ask anyway.

Basically, I've got a MK3 Fiesta LX which at some point in the past was silver. Now it's faded and rusty and I want to make it look good again. What I want to do is paint it red with 3 white stripes; one thick white stripe on the bonnet and one thinner stripe on each side down the doors.

I just wondered if any of you guys had ever attempted to paint your cars, how it had turned out, what you used etc.
