Rubber engine cover grommets

67 plate fiesta 1.5 diesel. Noticed a knocking sound from the engine and finally got round to looking into it. It seems the engine cover is loose due to one of the rubber grommets wearing out ( rear left). Tried to source some online but no luck as of yet. Is there any aftermarket parts that fit? Cheers

    Hi!

    I found the FORD part number is 1868498, strangely called Front Valve Cover Rubber Grommet.

    I am interested as I have the same problem.

    Not sure how much ford charge but I used wiring grommets...do the same thing and cheap to buy

    Very good idea! I will try the 20mm and 25mm grommets from Screwfix.

    Fords charges £7 each delivered (from ebay).

    seems a lot..dont forget to lubricate once fitted..i used silicon spray

    i bought a bag of 50...should last a while i think
