Forscan, Windows XP or Windows 10!

Featured Replies

OK where's the Forscan pro's at, I have a laptop running duel boot XP and 10 for many Diagnostic software installs some like one some like the other. However Forscan and a couple of others install and run on both!

When i check hardware ID's they come up different in XP to 10 so trying to work out what one would be the better one to get an extended key for.

Any and all advice welcomed

As always thanks in advance for any replies 🙂

Well I'm a Windows 7 user myself although I run an emulator that makes it look and behave like XP.

I've not encountered any problems with what I have. Much as it gives me great pain to say this, I think you should probably go with Windows 10 (I will of course deny I ever said that when the wheels fall off) 🤣

Using 10 for ANY diag software is killing me it just feels wrong but these days I'm clearly out of touch given using anything not XP wasnt an option the last time i played around with anything like this haha. Will see if anyone else chimes in if not i'll bite the bullet and say i read it somewhere on the internet lmao

It WILL run on all versions of windows, currently 11 on mine working flawlessly
