ST 500 cutting out

Featured Replies

Hi All

Hoping to find the answer which is puzzling me.

2008 ST 500 2.0

Came up to a set of traffic lights and cut out.

It will crank and start and run fine for 2-5 seconds then cut out.

I have fuel at the rail and a good spark.

No current or pending fault codes.

12.3 volts at the battery.

Immo light working as it should.

I've not looked at live data yet but anyone have any previous experience with this fault?

If you depress the throttle pedal it only cranks and doesn't fire.

If you crank without pressing the throttle it runs then cuts out.
