Code p0237

Featured Replies

Hi i have a mk7 fiesta zetec s 13'

Felt stuttering when ive accelerated in 1st gear starting to feel it in 2nd, plugged my car into a code reader and it came up p0237 ( boost sensor A ciruit low input)

Can i have some advice on how to sort the issue out

many thanks

P0237 would indicate a short to ground with the intake boost pressure sensor A input. This shorted boost sensor circuit won't be able to calculate the pressure to the PCM which would cause a lack of power in general (especially when accelerating).

Check the boost sensor connector for full connection and for corrosion on the pins and also cabling and look for a visible short. This could be the issue but also check for a defective boost sensor or a defective turbo or a faulty PCM.

Hope this helps 🙂
