Exhaust Back Box

Featured Replies

Hey folks,

Do you think a ST rear silencer would fit straight onto my Zetec S?

I'll try and get a better photo of back end tomorrow. This is all I have at moment.

I really doubt it mate number one ul have to hack the hell out of the rear splitter and hope it all matches on both sides, then youl need to see if itl fit under the car becasue they either run down the middle of the car and split of at about 3/4 of up the car OR run up like a normal exhaust and then split at a box which will seprate of into the twin pipes.

You may also loose alot of back preassure by doing this.

What u cud do is get in touch with somewhere like powerflow who design exhausts for you they might be able to design a "duplex" system for a 1.8tdci.

agreed simply whacking an exhaust that wasnt designed to fit can cause a lot of issues and loss of power you would need to get a duplex system as stated or an aftermarket copy
