As noted before my cars been having a bit of trouble lately with a engine noise i have a new car so i'm thinking of selling it as spares or repair, it's a zetec s 2005 with 72k miles on it and the timing belt changed at 56k. Pictures below i drove it the other day around time without any issue so it could be that i just changed the oil but i need rid which is a shame its a damn good car inside and out for its age.

P.S..scrap mans offered me £150 without looking in witch i think is laughably he'd making a huge profit on parts


 

Which parts are worth selling?  Doesn't even have a full set of alloys!  The ZS tailgate/spoiler & rear bumper may be worth selling to someone with a lesser spec model.

Not trying to be a d*ck, but I think £150 is a fair price for scrap.  Short MOT, potentially knackered engine and a bit scruffy externally, I'd hope for about £500 from a private sale.  

I think you're been quite generous. There is a glut of sub £500 cars on the market at the moment. In the North East it would probably go for around £350.
