Hi all. Quick question as ford weren't really that helpful. I had an active x 2020 which came with a different trim, but was involved in an accident recently. Long story short I've had to get an active 1 2020 in its replacement but noticed it doesn't come with the power fold mirrors (among other things) which the active x had. Can these be put on if I bought them and changed the door control? Or does the wiring loom currently there not able to do this?

Hi Daniel, the short answer is anything is possible given enough time and money, but your going to need loads of both.

You will need all of the wiring harnesses, both of the door control modules and of course two power fold mirrors (if you can find any). You will need a new switch to operate the mirrors and finally, but by no means least, the programming of the various modules to get the whole lot to work. If you can get this all done for less than £600 then I'd say you've done well.
