I’m wanting to order a timing belt and water pump kit but I want to 100% make sure that I order the correct one for my car. I looked all over the engine for a model stamp but I could not find one! These are the details that I found on my car:

-JA8 - Mk7 1.25 duratec 16v 08-13 
-DOHC EFI (82PS/81BHP/80HP) 

-Colour silver (metallic) 

-4 cylinders, 2 camshafts, 8 intake valves, 8 exhaust valves

-8A6G 6007 AB 44 (Code on timing belt cover)

-VIN: WF0JXXGAJJBL65233

Also what does the JA8 refer to? It was on the label on my door frame

 

Have you checked the V5 logbook?  4 digit codes used to be printed in there.  

I think there's only one belt option for the 1.25 of this era though.

The 8A6G-6007-AB number is the engine assy part number.
