Cruise Control stepping MPH

Featured Replies

Just picked up a 2017 S-Max Vignale. I put it in cruise control on the way home, and used the + / - to increase / decrease speed. It appeared to increase/decrease in 5 mph increments. The manual suggests it should be in 1 MPH increments.

ie. I was at 69 MPH when I pressed cruise control and wanted to increase to 70 mph, but it went to 74.

Is this an option I can change?

Mines does the same. I get to what speed I want manually then set where I want it. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries. It is annoying though.

I've found a description in the manual, that does say the setting is for a 5mph increase. Looks like there is no way to change this. It's a shame, our Mondeo, steps at 1mph no problemo.
