Fiest Fusion 2003 problem?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys.

New to the forum.

my granddaughter purchased a fusion 2003 from a friend of hers, cheap.

It's in good nick body-wise, but she had to have a bit of work done to it on the MOT (she didn't tell me at the time:rolleyes:)

Now she has a problem with her driver's window. It won't wind etc.

Its been a long time since I've had wind-up windows, so can't remember exactly how they work, even though I did on my old 1966 Triumph 2000

Can anyone help/give me some tips, please, or is there a tutorial on it somewhere?

The cable regulator on the Mk6 Fiesta/Fusion operates in the same way for both manual and electric windows.  The only difference is the winding handle in place of an electric motor.

You'll most likely needs a replacement regulator.  These are sided and 3dr/5dr specific.  Very expensive new but also quite rare used as very few of these had manual front windows, only the most basic ones!

I can't find a 5dr RH (right hand) regulator on ebay at all.  But this is a 3dr one just for visual comparison.

No problem.

I can't help with the 'follow' issue I'm afraid.  Only have notifications set to quotes or tags myself.
