2008 MK 6.5 Fiesta Wing Mirrors

I have a  2008Fiesta MK6 125 Studio, jusst a basic runaround but very reliable.

I have made a few bodywork improvements but the one thing I have not changed so far is the wing mirrors, at the moment they are just the standard black wing mirrors.

They are only manual ones unfortunately and I have been unable to see any cables tucked away to change them to electric.

On looking for repacement wing mirrors I can only find colour coded electric wing mirrors.

Would anybody know if they did manual colour coded wing mirrors rather than just black.

I know I could paint them but I don't think they would last that well.

I have considered just buying electric ones and fitting them anyway, but it would be annoying if I needed the adjust them.

    You could just swap over the mirror caps if you found a pair of complete mirrors in the right colour. I have seen ads for replacement caps pre -painted such as:

    Either way, it seems an expensive exercise. Funnily enough, I've been doing the rounds looking at new cars lately. Most have colour coded mirrors but on some you can have black as an option at (significant) extra cost! Funny old world.

    Thanks for the link, very interesting as it looks as though I could buy the complete manual mirror to the correct colour, as you say expensive, but it's the best I have seen.
