Hi all, apologies in advance if topic already covered.

My 2008 1.25 fiesta got advisory on the MOT; Steering column universal joint has slight wear or play

I can also hear/feel the crack sound when steering. I tried to look for replacement part on ebay, but having trouble finding the one for this model.

Is there something more to it? Can anyone advise please?

    I don’t know how easy it is to access/get off.  I am thinking that maybe if it’s gone dry you could oil/grease it. I know that can’t reverse any wear in it that has already occurred but it might may it feel better and reduce extra future wear.
