2012 Mondeo 2l tdci 163 powershift. I have an engine malfuction warning with an amber warning light, whenever I drive the car . The warning light stays on but the car drives perfectly no problems. I have connected an OBD 2 code reader, because I am reluctant to pay a dealer £120  for a diagnosis check,but no fault codes are detected.  Any answers please?

    A generic OBD code reader (even good ones) will not read Ford specific DTC's.

    You need to download and use FORScan with a good quality ELM327(modified) lead or the new vLinker FS cable.
