Help identifying missing piece of plastic on rear bumper MK8 Fiesta

Hi all,

I am in the market for a MK8 Fiesta. Whilst at the dealer today, I noticed this at the rear bumper. What is the broken off piece of plastic suppose to cover? First thought was this for towing but was not too sure.

    You're right, it's a detachable tow hook cover.  Nothing broken, just fallen off.
