Running cold. Please help 😜

Featured Replies

Hi all.

first off soo sorry if posted in wrong place not sure what I’m doing to be honest.

First time posting on here so hi all 😁👍

im on my last nerve with this car. 2011 titanium x sport 2.0tdci. Was a powershift but changed to manual in the summer.

well onto the problem the car just never makes it to running temp. After taking a lifetime to heat up she sits between 52-58c, have replaced the thermostat along with the houseing 3 times and each time stat taken off was tested to be working, not even sure why I kept throwing stats at it,

car has been converted from powershift to manual so for the sake of it I blocked of the heat exchanger/ cooler from the powershift incase that was sucking up my heat,

car also has egr & dpf delete not sure how much I’mpact this will have on the cooling system but worth the mention I guess .

and now on these cold morning I’m having hard starting , cranks for 5-10seconds and starts in a cloud of white smoke with rough idle for a few mins only on first start of the day.

any help would be greatly appreciated. Before i give the car a proper warm up and burn the f**er

Thank you 🙏 Trev
