2017 Mk8 top grille damage

Featured Replies

The only damage was to the two bottom slats of the top grille.  These seem to just clip on.  I can't get hold of these and am told I have to replace the entire grille I have been quoted £150-£200 new and around £80 second hand, hence my wish to just replace the slats. Any suggestions or advice

Ford buy the grills pre-built.  I'm afraid you won't be able to find individual parts for them.

Only option is the repair the grill you have (glue or plastic welding) or replace the whole thing with a new or used one.

Thanks Tom for your very helpful reply. I've tried ringing round  scrapyard and the like but no luck. I think the slats are beyond repair so looks like I will have to bite the bullet and buy a new grille.

Seems like a good deal, worth taking a chance on it for £40 👍

That's a Mk7 grill, not a Mk8.

Yeah, with 2017 being the changeover year there's a need to be extra careful.
