Hi,

I have noticed that when I brake I have a slight sqeal when braking is this a sign of that the brake pads need changing .

Possibly, but not necessarily.

It may just be a case of getting new shims, or taking the current ones off, clean them up and put them back on with a dab of coppergrease.

I would love to be able to do such things but I'm not mechanically minded nor is my husband, but I will mention it to a friend and see if he will take pity on me.

thanks
