Hi

I recently posted a problem with my dipped light bulb in a previous thread. Im pleased to say this has been fixed.

By trial I pulled out each fuse (located behind glove compartment) to check whether a faulty fuse was preventing my dipped lightbulb from working? It later occured when I pulled out each fuse to check, I inadvertedely reset the drivers dashboard. When I switched on my engine I have the following problems.

- Speedometer not working

- LCD Odometer not showing the total mileage. Instead I see " - - - - - - - "

- ABS lights are on

- Handbrake lights are on.

I pulled out two different fuses which holds dashboard information (both are 7.5A fuses) again & can confirm non are fault. When re-inserted, I encounter the same problem.

Any ideas what has happened now? And why my speedo isnt working?

Many thanks.

Hello

Have you got your radio code to hand.

If yes proceed to disconnect the earth from the battery on the car.

This should reset everything. leave it disconnected for at least 10 minutes.

Iam sure someone else will be along to further aid you in this.

Jamie
