Ive decided that its time to part company with my Zetec S, now im no expert when it comes to dealing with the dealers so what should i be looking to get for my S?

2200 miles on the clock, mint condition, not a dent in sight. alloys perfect, bluetooth, usb, heated windscreen.

Any ideas

What reg is it? I'd say £9500 - £10000

Also depends on what car you are trading it in for

unfortunatly no, everytime i went to the dealer they just didnt want to know, this coupled with the fact that a few weeks ago i was driving along to a meeting in cardiff in the pouring rain , had to use my brakes hard due to an accident on the road and the lack of abs on the car just made my mind up that i have to move on, dont get me wrong, the car looks superb, just now that im going to be doing a lot more milage with work etc i need something a bit safer, more comfortable and better built,

We just brought in a 10plate zetecs with 100 on clock with full red leather and street pack Bluetooth usb auto lights etc £11k in Colorado

I thought the Zetec S had ABS??

I know what you mean though, its a great looking car but I really need a 5-door, if the right Focus ST came up on the used market, I could be tempted to move on too. Good luck with the Golf, build quality should be miles better

It has abs.

All new fiestas have abs with ebd. Esp was an option on 1.6 model but now standard on the range now

It has abs.

my mistake, i meant the drum brakes on the back.

a bit safer, more comfortable and better built,

If you are getting a Golf dont build your hopes up too high.

The Build quality and reliability of the current Golfs isnt anything special ,

really?

first ive heard of that,

VW's are good but not quite what they used to be (as told by a friend who has always owned VWs)

http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/bargains-and-rip-offs/motoring/article.html?in_article_id=488819&in_page_id=53949

Fiesta = 5th

not a single VW in the top 10.

The current what car magazine has this to say about the golf:

Quality & Reliability4 out of 5 stars The Golf is about as swanky as small family hatches get. Many of the surfaces are soft to the touch, and many of those that aren't are rubberised for a better texture. Even tucked-away plastics are fairly good. The switches feel slick and the build is generally solid, but Volkswagen has disappointed in our reliability surveys in recent years.
