Where can I get the bolt that fastens the front brake hose to the steering knuckle? (The one that stops it moving around and getting damaged)

Featured Replies

I rounded it off nicely! It’s half on but I would prefer to replace it.
I don’t know what to google to find it!

Im not on about the banjo bolts by the way

I think the one you mean is a M8 x 16, just measure your one to make sure, any motor factors should have one.

Or probably screwfix / toolstation or your local corner hardware store if you still have one

Or from Ford. Would be the exact part for it. However they can be quite expensive since Covid happened.

Here's one but probably worth calling your local Ford parts department.

If it's just an ordinary M8 x 16 bolt, then any engineering supplies place should be able to help, or any agricultural/lawn mower repairers. Google to find one in your locality.

Screwfix or Toolstation are fine if you want a box of 100, but not normally for a single bolt.

Well yes, you can’t buy just one in screwfix but if I you want it any day of the week and it is nearerest place a, bear in mind cost of fuel driving further , it’s worth considering those kind of places.
