SYNC voice controls and Bluetooth issue

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a 2013 Fiesta Titanium with a Sony stereo.

I'm having an issue with the voice control and Bluetooth audio.

When I press the speech button on the steering wheel the voice screen opens but there is no instructions spoken and the screen goes off.

I've tried a SYNC master reset, removing the fuse and disconnecting the battery however this didn't resolve the problem.

When I play music from my phone which is connected via Bluetooth no sound is coming from the speakers. I can see that pressing the play/pause button on the stereo controls the media player on my phone.

I've searched the internet for solutions but none have worked for me.

Does anyone have any other ideas that I could try?

Thanks Wayne

Just a quick question. Has the Voice Control, and the bluetooth music streaming ever worked on your car ?
