2014 fiesta low oil pressure

Featured Replies

Low oil pressure has beeped twice when starting car. Both quite cold days. No light stays on. Car seems to drive ok. Anyone know what could be the issue here for me to look out for before I do alot more damage.

If you have a 1.0 Ecoboost then you are minutes away from total destruction of your engine, and if your lucky enough not to have one of those you are still only a short time away from causing major damage.

Low Oil Pressure warning should never be ignored and should be investigated as a matter of extreme urgency.

Also, please dont ignore the advice given by unofix.

If the oil pressure light is on there is most certianly an issue. Should you carry on using the car you will 100% damage the engine very quickly as in a mater of miles.

Look at the link and seek help from a garage if in doubt.

Presumably the oil level is ok?
