Replacing N/S Front Door

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I recently had a ding in my 3dr 2014 fiesta zetec, im looking to replace the n/s front door and wing.

I was wondering if a front door on a 3dr and 5dr are different dimensions? I did purchase a door from breakers and unfortunately, they've given me a different one than advertised, this one is from a 5dr model has a keyless entry but my car does not support this, is this also going to be a problem? I plan on taking all the electrics from my current door and installing them into the new door to prevent issues.

3dr doors are much longer.  A 5dr door will not fit.

Yes, 3 door is much longer than a 5 door.

It doesn't matter what the spec of the donor door is, as long as the colour matches and it's a 3 door door.

You MUST use the harness, mirror , module and latch mechanism from YOUR current door on the donor door

A 5 door front door will fit in the 3 door space without a problem. 👍

Here someone has already done it:
