Ford Fiesta ..Near Side(Passenger) door temperamental - 2017

Hi,

 I have recently found that my Ford Fiesta 2017 model does not open the Near side passenger  door when using a remote unlock and has to be opened from inside the car . All other doors work fine and there is no dashboard indicator or warning light.

Also its temperamental and works intermittently..  Not sure if the cold weather plays part..

Can anyone please suggest if this is a defect in the  car or something else ?

Would appreciate your kind response..

    Have you checked the wiring between the body and door, sometimes the wires break where they flex as the door opens and closes.
