ABS Module (unit) advice

Featured Replies

OK so I have a 2007 1.4 TDCi fiesta and the ABS unit has died so light on the dash, read the codes with forscan and it comes back as C1095 wont go into the full details but basically the pump needs changing and that's where I have hit an issue.

MOT is due and I'm having trouble finding the part from what i can tell/find out 4S612M110DA seems to be the part number but when searching that I'm finding ABS units for 1.2 petrol fiesta's in the list also! Can anyone confirm if there are petrol and diesel models using the same ABS units or if there is something that would mean I need it to be off a 1.4 TDCi Diesel.

As always thanks for any replies 🙂

The ABS units are coded to your car. Only a main Ford dealer is able to reprogramme them. You can't just get a used one and swap it.

There are a couple of specialist companies who you can find online that do a full repair and refurbish of your own ABS unit so that no reprograming is needed.

thanks for the info i dont have time to try take it off send it away get it back and fit it guess i'll have to look for a new car and be done with this one 😞 shame really cause its running nice and in good condition for its age and mileage and not long dont the timing belt.

but mot is less than a week away and i need a car every day so time to look for new one asap i guess.

thanks again for the reply though saved me time and money looking for one and getting it to find out it wouldnt work anyway.
