MK8 washer pump.

Mine has gone on a go slow. Am I right in thinking it is well buried and that I ought to just buy one and change it rather than take it out and clean it?

Seems the wisdom is to take off a wheel and strip the arch liner, then clean the filter. I get that, it figures. needs doing as well because the dealer is sending a driver to pick it up to have its geometry  investigated. I could ask them to do it under warranty but I shall probably brave the biblical rain tomorrow. It wouldn't have happened had the dealer topped it up during the PDI they didn't do. Too busy ticking the boxes to do the actual work!

if its under warranty why mess about yourself

Because I don't want the delivery driver getting hurt.

A fairly busy hour spent doing that has resulted in fully operational washers.
