I have a 2021 Ford Kuga 2.5 ST X plug in hybrid with 20ins wheels, I bought a space saver wheel that doesn't fill the space for the wheel,so I thought a full size one would fit? The reason I say that is because the Space saver is balancing on top of the battery cover( I think its because of the wheel offset) but with loads of room underneath it, that I will have to pack up  to stop it rocking. Has anyone tried it?

Have you got one of those old fashion man tools - a tape measure?

I doubt it very much, asumming it’s a 245 width tyre, I think the removable floor would sit proud on the tyre, even if it cleared the battery. Diameter wise I had to cut the foam on my 1.5 non hybrid to get a spacesaver of the same o/d as the road wheel to fit in mine.

My MK4 focus now has a full-sized alloy spare to match the others! Diameter of the boot space was slightly more than the diameter of the wheel, so with a bolt extender on the securing bolt, and a bit of wood to support the boot floor above the spare, all is well, in the spare wheel well!!

ADDENDUM: See this thread - I've been (reliably?) informed that the Kuga and Focus share the same chassis/floor plan, if that helps.

Additional info

To fit a space saver in a Kuga phev you need to purchase a new bracket that fits over the battery.
