Hi, just purchased 66 plate ST line 3 door 1.0 ecoboost fiesta. Struggling to locate engine No & there seems to be various versions of engine. Is there anyway of sorting this? Using VIN or other?

    Have you checked your V5c document for engine details ?

    There is usually a label on the timing cover . Probably to the rear of the engine mount fairly low down.  Taking a photo with your phone is the easiest way to read.

    That’s where it is on my 1.5 3 cyl.

    Yes, if you're meaning is it a 100, 125, or 140ps it will be on the V5, but probably expressed as kw rather than ps or bhp. 1kw is approx 1.36ps.

    Ah! Now I know why the engine is so small. Didn't know that they fitted them in chihuahuas.
