Keyless door entry door touch not locking?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Ive got a 2018 Kuga, the touch door sensor opens the door fine with no issues but for some reason won’t lock when you touch it? It locks using my key fob and opens on the door touch sensor but as I’ve said can’t lock by touch, when I do touch it you hear a little click as if trying to lock but doesn’t. Does anyone have any ideas? Would appreciate any help before forking out for diagnostic check

Does the keyless locking work correctly when you use the passenger door ?

It’s very temperamental when the weather is cold just use the key instead and wait until it gets warmer

OP had a Sneaky Peek at the replies 8th Feb, but didn't reply to my simple question.

Hi did you manage to get this issue resolved, and if so how?

I am having the same problem with my 2018 Kuga and would be grateful for any advice on how to fix it :)
