2012 1.4D not cranking

Featured Replies

Good Evening

wonder if anyone can shed any light on a no crank situation

we have changed battery and starter motor after the car developed a no start after being driven the day before

have checked most items but quite oddly the starter relay is operating via ignition

checked relay for continuity on switched pair but still no crank

it seems that the return path is not reaching the PCM

can anyone advise if there is a starter interlock in the circuit or any other item that we may have overlooked in this fault finding mission

appreciate any thoughts in advance

kind regards

Terry

Good Morning Unofix

many thanks for your reply

as the starter relay is energised and the car will start with key in on position after jumping the relay output had dismissed the key as the problem but will get that checked

diagnostics reveal there are no codes present in any module

once key has been reviewed will post back with update

Many thanks & regards
