S-Max 2010 2.0 TCDi

Featured Replies

HI All. I'm looking for a bit of advice. My S-max seems to run ok except the fuel consumtion has has almost doubled in the last week or so, And the MPG is jumping all over the place from 99.9 down to 8 or 10 miles in seconds. I've already changed the EGR valve but hasn't resolved the issue. Has anyone got any ideas please ?

Thanks Johno.

That's normal for all car fuel computers, depends on if you have your foot on the accelerator or are just coasting along.

As above, if it's jumping around a lot then you're in the instant mpg screen. You'll need to go through the screens to see other trip data like average speed, mpg, miles remaining etc
