Ford fiesta 2004 wierd noise

Hey everyone, I just bought my second ford fiesta 1.4 ghia 2004. And this one is making a constant humming noise when the engine is running. Stationary and while driving (when the engine is cold and also when its driven for a while). I've been to the garage and they think it's the water pump but do not have time for a better look and fix for 3 weeks. The pump has been replaced at 77.000km and its currently at 110.000km, so I think it's odd the be the pump. Airco wheel also doesn't turn but they said its probably not that. I'm not sure if I should drive the car for the coming weeks or not as I actually need it.

    Petrol or diesel?  Does the noise change when you rev the engine? Like it’s proportional to engine rpm.   Probably initially wants belt removing and then spinning pulleys round to see if any feel like there is a problem including the tensioner wheel . You can start engine with belt off to see if still makes the noise. Just for a minute. Can’t really say if ok to drive or not.  For example if belt tensioner wheel is failing and belt comes off you might be stuck somewhere.

    Its a petrol engine. And yes its proportional with the engine rpm.I gues I need to take the motorcycle until they got a spot in my garage then.
