swazman
Hello new member here, I own a ford fiesta mk7 1.4tdci titanium, bought the car recently and have never had the bluetooth, aux,usb or cigarette lighter working for that matter. I have changed all the fuses for said things above, and replaced the bluetooth module as i assumed it was a dead module, i replace it with the exact same part number. When i press aux nothing happens, when i press phone it says “mute” with a big mute icon with no audio. And when i go into settings and press audio>bluetooth, it just says “BT OFF” , no idea how to fix this or how to diagnose it, as for the usb and aux i have no clue what to do as i have only changed fuses. Gonna give this a last ask before i get an apple car play system.
DaveT70
If, when you press phone and it says mute, it means bluetooth is not fitted. It looks like the vehicle either: A: Has never had bluetooth fitted, someone has fitted the module because the connection was there, but has never configured the radio to recognise it or B: The head unit has failed at some point and the owner has fitted a replacement from a donor car that did not have bluetooth fitted If you get a decent lead (V-Linker or OBD EX) and FORScan on your laptop, you can connect and see if FORScan recognises the Bluetooth module. If it does, go into configuration & programming, ACM (not ASbuilt) and turn on Bluetooth and see if it works Edit: You must make sure the microphone is also fitted too

I will look into what you said, however i also need the aux to work as that would solve all my problems, any ideas on that? when i press it it does nothing and the usb doesn’t charge my phone either, i’ve changed the fuses on those too. Sounds like option B again, non compatible head unit
