Engine & Oil Light Question

Hi,

When I turn my key to get all the electronics on, the oil and engine management light stay on, but when I turn the key further to start the engine the lights turn off?

The oil level is ok.

I have an 08 Ford Fiesta Style 1.25

Can anybody help please?

    thats what should happen :) the battery light should also be on.
