I want to replace my first cat back exhaust - Any guides? 11

Featured Replies

ALL of my hangers have snapped on my mk7 2011 fiesta 😞
Really I need to replace the full exhaust but I'm going to leave the manifold/cat in because I cannot afford even a cheap one and I'm told that aftermarket cats are BAD quality unless you pay good money.

I've never tackled an exhaust before though so I could really do with a guide.
I'm just fitting a standard exhaust, nothing fancy.

I did search on google and youtube but couldn't find anything for my car

Honest advice - pay a fitter with garage tools and a car lift £30 to do it.  Not worth the hassle of laying on your back wedged under the car trying to get everything lined up and sealed.

I would like the challenge of it though. Plus I've just lost my job so even if I can get away with only paying £30 labour. It's still £30 that I could do with

You can buy new hangers if the rest of the exhaust system is still good and you need to save money
