Hi, I’ve got a focus eco boost 1.0l 125 bhp. The “service engine now light” comes intermittently, the car has been serviced and reset. When it comes on it knocks my stop and start of and loses a bit of power but if I turn the engine off there on and drive the power is back but then loses it agin when the service engine now comes back on. I’ve had a diagnostic on it and it’s saying a couple of codes. Theses are code p006a-62 and code p0039-73. Any advice to what this will be. Cheers

    Codes are MAP/MAF correlation & turbo recirc valve.

    Recirc valve is a weak point on the 1.0 so a good place to start.

    Cheers tomsfocus, I’ve had a visual look at the recirculating valve and can’t see any damages. Is it the inside that falls apart

    Yeah, they tend to leak internally.  It's a pretty simple part but poor quality as standard.

    I’ll take it off and check, see what condition it’s in when my other one comes. I’ve just ordered another standard one for now see how it goes, cheers pal
