NA Fiesta MK7.5: Front Parking Sensors Retrofit Issues

Featured Replies

Hello friends,

I have an NA Fiesta (Sedan 2013.25MY) made in Mexico. I adapted the front sensors to it, making the connection according to the electrical diagram for the EU Fiesta version (All sensors connect to the BCM).
During testing, I confirmed that front sensors only work if the following options are active in the IPC (Main):

1 Vehicle Type: 17 - EU Fiesta
69 Body style: 13 - 5 door sedan

With the above configuration enabled, the front sensors work, but due to the difference between the platforms (NA Fiesta x EU Fiesta), I have DTCs related to the headlight switch, brake lights not working and other details.

In view of the fact that front parking sensors are not supported on the NA Fiesta vehicle type, I would like to know if anyone here has already tried to adapt or if they have already tested a connection using a PAM module, from the previous generation (MK7, 2008 to 2012):
