Cd changer

Featured Replies

Hi I don't know if this is the correct place to put this so say if not but I've just recently bought a 1999 Ford fiesta and I noticed you could spec it with a cd multichanger and the head unit says it works with one but it didn't come with one if I wanted to add one where would it go thanks for any help you can provide.

Well it took me a few minutes to try and figure out why you would post something about a CD player in the "Mountune" section 🤔

Then it hit me 😀

You're thinking along the lines of 'mounting' a CD player to listen to some 'tunes' 👍

I guess you're new to cars and have not come across Mountune before ?

Your chances of finding a multi-change CD unit for a 1999 Fiesta is to say very unlikely but I wish you luck.

You might be better reposting your request in the Audio section: https://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/forum/10-audio-amp-electronics/

In the mean time you might like to take a look at the Mountune site: https://www.mountunestore.com/

I'm not sure about the Mk4 Fiesta location.  Ford CD changers of this era were usually either mounted under the passenger seat or at the side of the boot.

I have a brochure from 1996 but it seems a CD player wasn't even an option then!

Here is the parts list for the CD changers:

Sad to see that @jdallow couldn't even spare the time to check back on the help he asked for on 16th Feb 🙁
