when locking or unlocking with key fob there is no

noise,just lights flash.is there anyway

to make a sound when locking and unlocking as

well has the flashing lights

The horn 'chirp' that is very common in North America and some other countries when locking/unlocking, is no longer allowed in the UK and was stopped sometime before 2010 (don't know the exact year).

Some models still do have the function to 'chirp' (those sold in countries that still allow it) and therefore using the software FORScan it may be possible to turn that function on, but I'd advise against it.

If the function to 'chirp' still exists on a 2023 model, then you will only be able to activate it by using FORScan and a vLinker FS cable. It will not be an option that can be turned on in either Sync3 or the instrument cluster menu as it is no longer allowed in the UK.

If you get a laptop then download FORScan and connect up to the OBDII port you will be able to check if the option is still available, possibly in the Body Control Module.

on my car the sound of the locks working is enough to let me know that they've locked, that's one thing that I like about power fold mirrors they give a visible sign that the doors are locked. I never liked the chirp when locking at night.

2023 model ,but no folding mirrors,can not understand
