2013 Fiesta 1.6 Tdci Air box question?

Featured Replies

Hi lads,

On my 2013 Fiesta's air box I have a moulded outlet coming out of the lower section of the air box? (it has a piece of sponge-like gauze inside the airbox at this outlet)

- Should there be a pipe on this, leading somewhere?

- What should be coming out of this outlet (clean air or fumy diesel air)?

If anyone else has a Fiesta diesel could you have a quick look and see what yours is like? (Not great pics but I've attached them anyway!)

Anyone with a 2013 1.6 Tdci or similar???

I don't know what it's for.  But I can tell you that it's an inlet, not an outlet.

If you've got fumy diesel air coming out of the airbox, your engine may be fitted backwards.
