Fiesta Buying Advice. Ambient Lighting, F&R Electric Windows

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm looking at getting a fiesta 2016> that comes with colour changing ambient lighting and front & rear electric windows

Which model/variant would I need to look at?

Thanks

Titanium X, I believe

But I can't remember if any Fiesta came with colour changing Ambient Lighting, I thought that was Focus and above

Afaik only the Focus has ever had colour changing, never the Fiesta.

Shouldn't be too difficult - do you want sporty looks and firm suspension?  Or comfort suspension with a nicer interior and more toys inside?

You can never have enough toys

I am pointing more towards the titanium-x

Hi

I had a Titanium X Ecoboost 125, 64 plate. I had it for 5.5 years (bought at 2.5 years old) put 20k on it and it was very reliable, had all the toys except nav. Only sold it due to age and poor fuel economy (24mpg) at the end. Swapped it for a 2018 Renault Clio Signature DCI (top spec including nav and auto park assist) and currently getting 50mpg.

Not sure about this but when Ecoboosts get to about 8 years old the wet belt starts to degrade and that's when the problems start. I was speaking to someone and they have a 10 year old Ecoboost and that's just had an engine rebuild at a non ford dealer at £1500 and 3 weeks off the road.

Hope this helps

Yes, there are numerous threads on here on the issue, but still worth making the point that a 2016 1.0 ecoboost is only 3 years away from that very expensive cambelt change and needs to have its service history checked very carefully for regular oil changes with the correct specification oil.
