Fiesta 1.5 tdci 75hp serious engine problem

Featured Replies

Hello friends,

I have a Fiesta 1.5 tdci 75hp 2016.

You can see the video of the problem on the link below:

Per my mechanic, they've tried everything but without success. Injectors, DPF, EGR, SW update, fuel pressure sensor, fuel pump in reservoir, common rail pump, turbine but the problem remains.

The strange thing is that this occurs only on temperatures above 0 degrees Celsius. On temperatures below zero the engine runs smoothly.

Can you please help?

Have you ever experienced somthing like this?

Thank you!

Have all the engine ECU temperatures been checked on diagnostics?

Coolant temp sensor.  Outdoor temp sensor.  Intake air temp sensor.  MAF/MAP sensor correlation?

I'm not sure what exactly they have checked in diags but I suppose all of the mentioned sensors were tested and are showing the correct data. I will ask my mechanic.

They told me the worst thing is that there are no faults in diagnostics.

Are they using a genuine Ford code reader or using FORScan.

If they are only using a generic code reader (even if it is a very good one) it will not read all of the Ford specific DTC's.

I would recommend that you should use FORScan to check for fault codes.

I'm pretty sure they are using genuine Ford diags, since it is a very large Ford only service, one of the best rated here in Serbia.

I didn't get a chance to call them today and ask about parameters unfortunately. I will post the info here as soon as I can.

Thw problem was with the gasoline in a diesel engine...

The question is...how it got there since the gasoline fuel nozzle can't fit.

Maybe the truck that delivered the fuel to the station put in in the wrong tank, I've heard of it happening.

Might be, but I live in a small town with around 5000 people and I would have probably heard that this happened to somebody else, but I didn't...

I was checking all my transactions, comparing them with what kind of fuel I was buying since I have the app of the fuel company where everything is recorded but it was always diesel, no mention of gasoline...

I've also tried using a gasoline nozzle on two gas stations near me but there is no way for it to fit, even using a bit of force.

I'm starting to think somebody poured gasoline on purpose since gas tank cover can't be locked and there is no fuel cap on the reservoir....really weird.
