can anyone anser my question

Maybe phone /email your dealer?

I think there are only minor changes from the 2010.5MY model to the 2011 model, i.e.availability of some of the factory optional extras such as the new Sony CD.

BTW great colour you have chosen!

My contact hasnt told me the full list, but as mentioned above they are minor items, although personally I wouldnt have ordered without knowing what they are, lets hope you are not on here complaining in a few weeks time that it no longer has x y z .

The only definate change I know of is the 1.4 tdci has been retuned for all cars built from 01.08.2010

In fords words:

"From August 2010 the latest Stage V engine tuning takes the Fiesta 1.4-litre TDCi with DPF up 2PS to 70PS"

The 1.6 tdci was recently uprated to 95PS.

The 2011 range all have ESP,although this has been standard since May,although the brochure has not yet been updated to show this.

There is talk of a new 1200 petrol coming soon with the new ecoboost engine,to compete with the new vw engines.

all i know is that it is an new engine, just wondered if there was any interior changes.

when do the DRL's come in? thought it was law as of very soon... thought they was going to the US shape with it... or is just me being smacked with internet rubbish?

January i think for drl's dont quote me on when they will start fitting them.

I found this on http://www.visitcars.co.uk/car-news/car-articles/New+Daytime+Running+Lights+Law

I apologize now for how long it is but i thought it might be useful

New Daytime Running Lights Law

In 2008 a new law was passed by the European Commission that meant all new cars and small vans purchased after February 2011 had to have daytime running lights, and lorries will follow suit from August 2012. The new vehicles will have the daytime running lights (DRL) that come on automatically when the engine is started. This law will not affect cars bought before this period and DRL´s will not have to be retro fitted.

Daytime running lights are not new to the UK. Volvo´s were the first vehicles that came with these as standard, although the driver did have the option to turn them off. Volvo´s were fitted with DRL´s due to the laws in Sweden and have always been seen as a safety feature. The European Commission had introduced this law on advice that there could be a significant reduction in road deaths and serious injuries. Those that are opposed to the new law argue that the glare from these lights will be distracting. There is also concern over motor cyclists and the possibility of a rise in pollution due to increased fuel usage.

In a report for the Department for Transport it was confirmed, "There is substantial evidence that the mandatory use of DRL would provide a net accident reduction. However, the evidence concerning the magnitude of the effect and particularly the relationship with accident severity is considerably weaker."

Many manufacturers are already planning and designing their new ranges of cars and vans with the future regulations in mind. The new range of Audi´s (which can be seen below) will all come with daytime running lights as standard.

Jamie

my only worry with all the drl's is it may just be a distraction for a while when cars go past... how often do you turn too look at an audi when they drive past?
