Paul 56
Can anyone tell me why the pads are so expensive, list price is £188 , had a recent service and was quoted £275 to replace the pads.
unofix
More information about the KA is required. What year ? What engine ? See example below for the cost of Ford replacement pads. Fitting about 1 hour.
TomsFocus
If that's a Ford quote, you're paying for the Ford branded items, identical to factory fitted. (Suggested by Ford when the car is still within warranty period). The alternative is to use Motorcraft as above, which will be around £60 for a set. Or you can buy an aftermarket set from somewhere like EuroCarParts for around £40. (Just avoid their cheapest Eicher brand imo).
