Blower sometimes works and sometimes doesn't

Featured Replies

Hi all

Maybe you can help me with a blower problem. The blower sometimes does and sometimes it doesn't. The blower engine was replaced a week ago but did not solve the problem. The interruptor is also good because all modes (from 1 to 7) do it.

The blower sometimes works again when I restart the car. If the blower does not work while driving, it will not work spontaneously. The car really needs to be restarted. Our Ford S-Max has run 106,000 kilometers (66,000 miles).

Anyone have any idea what might be going on? My garage owner has indicated that it might be the ECU. Could that be possible?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you mean the resistor pack ?

Sorry, indeed it should be the resistor.

Interruptor should be resistor. My mistake.

I would still replace the resistor pack, they can become intermittent and fail when warm and they start and work again when the cool down.
