2013 sync 1 upgrade

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I have a 2013 1.25 fiesta with the basic stereo (as pictured) I want to put the Sony stereo with satnav and Bluetooth track listing ect. I was wondering if I get the sync module, screen, stereo and control panel it would be a straight swap and work or does it need new wiring/programing. Thanks

My money is on plug and play, providing you already have bluetooth.

Someone will be along to correct me though, if I'm wrong.

I agree with Dave it should be a straight swap if you already have Bluetooth. There will be no need of programming unless you have to add the Bluetooth module and then it might need to be enabled.

You will probably need gps receiver for the sat nav, does your existing radio have DAB if not that would be another consideration as the Sony with sat nav will probably have DAB.
