2013 Ford Fiesta 1.0 Petrol Powershift Automatic

Featured Replies

Hi,

My car has done 75k miles now, I am trying to get oil changed in the automatic transmission however When I contacted Ford dealer they told me that fluid is for life. I searched online and everyone suggest to service automatic gearbox regardless of what manufacture are saying as their "For life" mean warranty period which is long gone.

Has anyone had Automatic Gearbox serviced? can share if it's recommended please.

Thanks in Advance,

//Kevin

If it is a Powershift box (which I think it probably is) then the manufacturer recommends changing oil and filter regularly (3 yrs = 37500 miles).  If your dealer has told you something different, someone has got their knickers in a twist. Did you tell them your Reg Number to make sure they were looking at the right car?
