Hi,

Not sure if this is the correct forum to be asking questions about electrical probs or not.

I have a fiesta mk5 1.4 tdci and recently I blew a fuse when I took the fsctory fitted head unit (6000CD) unit out to try wiring in an amplifier.

I successfully located the blown fuse and replaced it but I now have a prob with the instrument cluster and electrics.

When the ignition is turned to stage 2 (prestart) the guages should come online and the headunit should power up immediately.

The guages/headunit now dont come online until about 20 seconds after stage 2.

I was just wondering if anyone could advise on the above.
