Apologies this is totally off topic but was the highlight of my boring day.

At lunchtime one of the test prototype chineese built MG5 saloons drove past me on the A6 between Lancaster and Preston.

I was very tempted to do a u turn and try to get some "spy shots" and send them the Autoexpress.

It was filthy grey with random sticky tape where the badges would have been and other places,it looked totally bland and obviously wasnt hoping to get any attention.

It was left hand drive and it seemed to have rally seats and rally seat belts,presumably for high speed track testing.

I drove past a white MG6 in Balsall Common about a month ago... it looked pretty good actually, not quite as polished as some of the top European saloons but a decent effort, the big alloys it had on helped it out too.

Ps, just had a look on google, is the MG5 basically just an updated MG ZS(?) (The rover 45 one).
